PPAP stand for Production Part Approval Process
PPAP, now day’s very poplar due to its systematic system to bridging trust & reliability about product between supplier & customer, mostly its preventing in engineering company, automotive sectors, Industrial supplier, Steel industries that concerned with automotive industries.
PPAP, is the process or activity is whole approval process that supplier sending the process report to customer for approval of the process that used on new product development. Once customer approve the process records & sample of product that provided by supplier are able to produce in real production line.
When the customer demands any product with design to supplier, suppliers making some sample product to examine. Whole process i.e. PPAP owner is supplier, but approval rights with customers, suppliers develop the product samples with analysis all possible factors, designing, failure mode effective analysis, controlling on the process for the specific product in line with sampling adopt for customer requirements, measurement statistical analysis, chemical & mechanical testing of Sample product etc..
