Production process documentation
Production process documentation established to conducting production processes records and it’s each operation details organized for producing materials.
Production process documentation are prepared and deployed in the manufacturing processes, records are conducted and maintained as per production processes, its individual operation descriptions and all the resources which are used in the manufacturing / production processes. The purpose of the production process documentation is to established proper documentation system for the production process where all the manufacturing processes are indexed and recorded its individual tracking, manufacturing operations as per sequences and interactions of the product requirements, detailed information of each operation which is needs to managed and producing materials that can be manufacturing processes and supporting process. In the documentation of production processes are also covered the resources which are used like machinery, equipment, supporting bill of materials, tools, manpower and other resources.
The purpose of the processes indexing and managing sequences of each operation to identify requirement of each operation, resources, setup of parameters and its frequency that needs for inter processes that helps to determine production parameters setup, machinery and equipment organized and handling and moving materials which is being used in production lines. The documentation are also conducted and covered each operation are needs to maintain standards of the product, technical requirements of processes and customer requirements which can in form of special characteristics or any other technical concern, for the internal management of the producing materials are conducted on base of standard operating procedures and work instruction for particular task that supporting to manufacturing activities, that are also needs to managed and organized in documentation for the proper record and maintain management. The documentation are conducted and maintained for whole records of the each production processes in the simple format is production process sheet, see picture below given example format of production process sheet for education purpose:
Production process sheet is document which all the operations are conducted and indexed. The records are handled in production department and production manager is responsible for established, maintain and update records as per standards, department people are responsible for managed and follow the processes required parameters and concern guidelines to maintain system in the production lines and production time analysis, the process sheet is maintained to conducting operations which are helps to maintain and improvement of product quality. The records are maintained and disposal process is conducted as per retention period.
