Customer Acceptance Testing

When the customers are asking for the testing at the supplier end by some witness quality inspection that customer acceptance testing report are need to fill up. This is the common requirements that customers are asking for the witness testing for acceptance of the product order which is given for the some end applications. Customers are witness testing is required when the customer fill that the end application requirements are very critical which is need to care of each step of inspection.

For the customer acceptance testing, acceptance testing plan is prepared by supplier and this task is perform at the supplier premises, here as below given example for customer acceptance testing format:

1. Customer Identification number and Customer name with full customer details, which all are filled by supplier, actually this report for suppliers  that is manufacturing unit.

2.  Date of testing processes are planned as well as performing at field

3. Quality control engineers of customers for witness

4. Quality control engineer of manufacturing / internal

5. Support team list of engineers, supervisor etc.. which are performing task of testing on the product

6. Inspection – Dimensional checking / Sizes / Specifications requirements testing records  – required Records as below:

7. Visual inspection – This task is very important for the engineering product / automotive product that all kinds of testing are important to met the requirements of end application – Required records as below:

• Material / parts / Item Numbers

• Standards – Product Standard requirements

• Specifications – According to product, which specifications are applicable for the product category and group

• Testing Result – Here as three kinds of testing record are merged.

• General Observations, Points which is recorded by inspection team

1. Result and comments by Quality control engineer of Customer and internal engineering team
