Return material register
When the suppliers are providing the material that out of the supply any rejected material, damage or any other quality problem found, whole lot or part of the material is return to supply that recording of the event are necessary for the accounting and stock effects.
Return material register or purchase return register are maintained against each purchased return material to supplier, records are need to maintain as below:
- Gate pass Number
- material send through
- Party name
- Material Description
- reason for return material
- Quantity and Unit of quantity
- Return date
- Note for retuned material if required
Recording of the fields as above are general that suit for any company whose are maintain its stock and register, as requirements of the quality management system are also used for the records with unique format numbers.
